Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
LeftOff ("we", "our") is a Chrome extension that helps you resume unfinished YouTube videos. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account information: your name and email address, provided when you create an account, used for sign-in, verification codes, and trial/subscription management.
- Video activity: the YouTube video IDs, titles, watch progress, and queue status of videos you watch while the extension is active. This powers the resume and queue features and is synced to your account so it can be restored across devices.
- Payment status: we receive confirmation of payment from our payment providers (Razorpay for India, Dodo Payments internationally). We never see or store your card numbers, UPI IDs, or banking credentials.
What we do NOT collect
- Your browsing history outside YouTube
- Passwords (we use emailed one-time codes instead)
- Card or bank details (handled entirely by the payment providers)
How your data is stored
Video activity is stored locally in your browser and backed up to our servers (hosted on Render, with data in Supabase) so it can be restored when you sign in again. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except the service providers required to operate LeftOff (hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing), each receiving only what they need.
Data deletion
To delete your account and all associated data, email us at dhusiashubham@gmail.com from your registered address and we will remove it within 30 days.
